Systems for separating ferrous metal fragments from bulked material.
The metal separation system by magnetic roller is used on Crizaf "C1000" series belt conveyors and is an effective solution only in the presence of a thin layer of bulk material conveyed.
The bulk material transported by the belt, once it reaches the discharge point, continues its way through a dedicated chute while the ferrous metal fragments continue their rotation around the magnetic roller on the belt return pushed by the fins, falling when the magnetic force of the roller loses intensity the farther as they move away from the roller.
Unlike conveyor belts with flat or tunnel metal detector, this solution never stops to run as it has no sensor for detecting the presence of ferrous metals.
